Get To Know Me Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!

I was tagged by Diana of DLART.  She is a friendly and wonderful person to get to know.  I met Diana a few years ago when she first started her blog.  She and I skyped one another and just started a conversation from there.   She is an exceptional artist and an inspiration to me and a real friend.  It is great to also know that she is a child of GOD.  After reading her post last week for this blog post I hope to do this week's post justice.   Please visit her blog and get to know her a little better.    Thank you Diana for thinking of me.

1.  What am I working on?  Currently I am working on some CAS cards to have on hand for birthdays, weddings, sympathy,  thank you and thinking of you cards.    I haven't finished my stash yet, but above are a couple of pics of what I have so far.

2.  How does my work differ from others of its genre?  I don't think it differs too much.  I have noticed of myself that I don't do a lot of embellishing even though I own enough...lol

I do like working and finding new card bases:

3.  Why do I create/write what I do?  Because it is relaxing and fun to me.  When I have time I can make cards for hours, especially if everything is flowing.  I love getting the colors together and deciding what images to use... whether it is on my silhouette or using my gypsy with my expression.

4.  What is your creative process?  I look at what is trending right now as far as new embossing folders, images, and embellishments, and I go to pinterest a lot to be inspired.

I also love making cards using my needle...yes they take a lot longer to make, but this is also relaxing to me as well and then I see the results and realize so worth the effort.

I am tagging two people to join in on the fun and you will get to know them a little better next Monday.

I first met Sharon when I first started blogging and she would comment on my blog sooo fast.  Everytime I would put a project up Sharon was right there with a sweet comment.   I used to wonder, how does she do that so fast...(lol).  Sharon if I haven't told you thank you I am doing so now.  I am so appreciative for your support and we are now DT sisters with Mary of Cardz TV as well as sisters in CHRIST.  It is a privilege and pleasure to tag you  my friend.

I first met Esther on the Celebrate the Occasion DT.  She is a great organizer and she doesn't mind rolling up her sleeves to work.  I really appreciated all of your help on the DT and just your enthusiasm.  Your projects were and are amazing and your zest for life shows and comes through in your projects.  It is my pleasure and privilege to tag you as well my friend.
