Welcome to the New Year's Celebration Blog Hop & Happy New Year From MAG Challenge!

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for joining us in this New Year's Celebration Blog Hop!!!!  I am really excited because this is my first time being asked to join a blog hop after all the ones I viewed.  I am honored to work with such talented paper crafters.  I hope it won't be the last.  I hoped you enjoyed the projects thus far.  Well, onto the project and then I will get to the BLOG CANDY (Will choose winner on Monday January 3, 2011). You have 2 days to leave one comment --today and tomorrow.

If you came over from Dorcas' blog 4 Crafty Angels then you are on the right track.  If you want to start from the beginning then click here (Carol's Sweet Creations).

This project was so much fun to make. It is a tri-pocket card. Well, I just could not stop at one so made two. I also made boxes for each of them.  **************tutorials coming in 2011******************
The second one I made for our MAG Challenge.  MAG is a challenge blog where you can only use a specific page of a Cricut cartridge book (no acceptions) to come up with a creation.

Happy New Year Everyone!!! I added some "bling" to the projects and here are pictures of them both.  I cut out the tags several times and glued them together in order to make the tags chipboard like.  One picture shows it all together and the other photos show them when they are out of the pockets.  I hope you like the project I have created for you.

Requirements for Blog Candy! One entry per person.  You don't have to be a follower, but I must admit that I sure would love it if  you decide to join me.  Lastly,  a way for me to contact you.

Here is a photo of the Blog Candy:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry CHRISTmas Everyone!

I just want to thank all the new followers and everyone for taking the time to stop by to view this card.
When I saw this card on Jolly Holidays it made me laugh and smile. Seeing Jolly ole' St. Nick heading down the chimney head first with feet dangling out of the chimney made me happy and hopefully will put a giggle/smile in your heart.

From my Family to Yours.  Merry CHRISTmas and don't forget to stop by for the upcoming New Year's Celebration Blog Hop on December 30th & 31st. Until then Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Nine Ladies Dancing Challenge Week 12 (Ballerina)

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by to view yet another card.  I am entering this card into the Cricut Circle Challenge. With the previous card I realized I did not use the "Shall We Dance" Cartridge and I had to go back to the drawing board.

Don't you just love the gracefulness of a ballerina?  I do.  I wish I could have had lessons as a child.

The challenge requirements:  Must use the "Shall We Dance" Cartridge and then you may have nine of anything  (letters in the title, shoes, dancers,etc.).

On this card the title is nine letters long.  Hopefully you enjoy this card as well.  Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD Bless

MAG Challenge #8 PDDU

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope your day is going well.  I must share with you that when I saw the page that we had to work with this week, I wanted to say, can I wait for next week to participate (lol).  I didn't want to even begin to think about what I was going to do with the armor.  No person just the armor folks.  Then I looked at the dragon and I said I bet he would be so cute blue, but then I cut him out green and then I still didn't use him for this challenge.  When I saw that green dragon I didn't know where to put him.  So he was put aside for another day.  I then saw the unicorn (no unicorn? a horse, what? There is a dragon, but no unicorn--what is that about?) and the bridge--no ideas there, but when I saw the arch--true inspiration hit me.  I think it turned out okay.   What do you think?  Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD bless!

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.  Surprise! here is another challenge entry (lol).  For some reason I am making a lot of pocket cards.  I like the idea of a surprise greeting inside.  Of course, this did not start off as a pocket card (anyone else come across that dilemma?--lol). I am also trying to make "feel better soon" cards.  Whenever there is a need for one I don't seem to have any.   Anyway, enjoy and GOD Bless.  Comments are welcome.  This card will be entered into the following challenge:

MAG Challenge #7

Hello Everyone,

Thanks again for stopping by.  This week is interesting because we are using the Cricut Cartridge Paisley page 59.  Now this was a challenge and just think you can only use the page and these specific images.  Trust me, we know how difficult it is to pick a page and come up with something that will inspire you.  Then we try to bring you something different from each one of us so that no two designs are alike.  We don't share what we've created until each design is completely finished.  If there is a duplicate we usually keep the one from the person who was done first and the other designer has to start from scratch. Now how is that for a challenge?

Please take a moment and stop by our Guest Designer's Blog!!  I am sure that you have seen her creations around.  She does excellent work.  If you haven't guessed who this designer is she is the blogging world's newest rising star!! Thanks Gigi from The Cricut Bug   .  Stop by her blog and show her love.

MAG wants to show a variety of styles and work from different paper crafters. That is what I like about blogging .  You can meet people from all walks of life and see many different views and interpretations of card making/projects.    Who knows the next guest designer could be you.

Anyhow, how about some tea?  I made a tea bag holder in my favorite color!! What a surprise, right?  (lol).  Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD bless.

MAG Challenge # 6

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving Day as well as an enjoyable Black Friday. I did some blog hopping and noticed that Jolly Holidays and Twinkle Toes were the most popular Cricut Cartridges this past weekend,  I hope that everyone that wanted those particular cartridges got them.

We will be having a guest designer this month at MAG and she is truly a gifted card maker/paper crafter!! In her short tenure in the blogging world she has proven it over and over again with her creations and designs.  I really love her creativity, her clean lines and her style.   So look for her creation next week on the December 10th.

It's that time again for another MAG Challenge by the Page. I made a shaker card this time.  This week it is Graphically speaking (p. 56).  Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD Bless!!

Momo's Treat box or Bag Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Thanks again for stopping by.  Treat boxes are not something that I normally do, but it is always good to expand your horizons (lol).  Since CHRISTmas is coming I thought that I would make it look like a Santa hat. What do you think?  It doesn't look like the ribbon is tied so I added a side view.  I will snip the ribbon a little more to make it shorter.    Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD bless.  I hope you enjoy this treat box that I am entering into the following challenge:

Made by Momo--treat bag or box

Recipe:

Card Stock (Recollections)
