Happy Retirement!

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and peeking in.  This week at Celebrate the Occasion (CTO) retirement is the theme.  With inflation and rising costs of everything will that even be possible.  Most older men and women are finding themselves retiring from one place and seeking employment somewhere else.  What ever happened to the good ole days when a person could "serve their time" in their respective careers and enjoy life in their declining years?  I hope you enjoy this card.  To all hopeful retirees I hope you are able to recline on a beach somewhere and enjoy the sunset!

Please join us in Celebrating Retirement at CTO by linking your project.   Comments are welcome.  Enjoy and GOD Bless!

Recipe:

Card Stock ( Recollections, Stampin' Up)
Embossing (Zing)
Foam Squares (3-D)

  2. I agree with you, I guess for now we will have to seek our dreams through cards and you have done a wonderful job fulfilling that! Really great card, wish I was sitting in that chair :)

  4. Beautiful work Gloria and rightly said! I can't tell you the number of times I hired people who were retired but needed another income just to get by. I worry everyday what the impact of me leaving my job to become a SAHM has done to our chances of being able to enjoy our retirement years! It is terrible. I do love you card though! The waves look amazing! Nice work on the challenge this week!

  10. Girlia, you are so right! It's such a shame and Lord knows it will probably be worse by the time our generation reaches retirement age.

Love your card....the detail on the trees and the waves. Very nicely done!
