An Imagine That Challenge (My Pink Stamper)

Hello Everyone,
This coming Saturday is my mother's birthday, and I want to show you this beautiful card I made her.  Believe it or not her birth date had almost slipped my mind.  I was actually on the phone with her when I realized OMG! I have got to get a card for her in the mail--pronto! (bad daughter, bad daughter).  I intended to make a card for her earlier, but got so involved with making cards for the challenges and you know how that goes.  While taking the different angles of the card for you to view  I decided why not enter My Pink Stamper's Imagine Challenge (Couldn't hurt).  Anyway, here is what I came up with.  The sentiment on the front reads "Happy Birthday," and the first flap with the perfume bottle says  "Celebrate with Style."  Comments are always welcome, enjoy and GOD bless!

Recipe:

  • Best Friends
  • Foam Squares (3-D)
  • Hero Arts Stamps (Birthday Messages)
  • Imagine
  • Martha Stewart  Edger Punch (Swirling Lace)
  • Paper Trimmer

Stickle Holder

Hello everyone,

I had to share with you what my husband built for me today.  A stickles holder. This idea came from Sheree's blog  (CravinScrapin.blogspot.com).    I thought how inventive of her husband to make this convenient holder for her.  So I showed my hubby the pic and asked him if he could he build me something similar and he said sure. We went to Home Depot, bought the wood, and here is the result.  Thank you Sheree's husband  for such a wonderful idea and thank you GOD for a crafty husband.   Comments are welcome, enjoy and GOD bless.

Hi There! Momo's Tuesday Challenge #12

Hello Everyone this week's card was prepared for Momo's Tuesday Challenge (#12). I really like the idea of sending someone a card just to put a smile on their face. I have a BFF in Kansas City and I haven't seen her in a while and so this card is going out to her in the mail tomorrow. As you can see the card is shaped as a postage stamp. The inspiration for this card came from Emma (My creative time)

Recipe:
Card Stock (Recollections)
Create A Critter
George and Basic Shapes
I-Rock (Clear Crystal)
Ribbon
Slumber Party
White Gel Pen

The card was welded together using my gypsy at 5.5 inches. The cell phone was cut at 3 inches. I cut the base of the phone out twice and popped it up. I am really pleased with how it came out. Hopefully, this will inspire her to call me (lol). Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Again, take care, enjoy and GOD bless.

Hello Everyone I am so excited because this is my first video for my blog. Wow! did it take a while to upload. Anyway, I made this Double Fold Pocket Card to enter into Paper Cutz Challenge. The Tags are the baby bottle as well as the baby rattle. I realize that I have been missing in action for the last few days. Hopefully what I have prepared for you will make up for it. My first video tutorial for the Double Fold Card that I posted about a week or so ago. This is a really simple card to make and hopefully I won't make it complicated. There is part I and Part II. I had some questions about it and so I thought that it would probably be better if you could actually see it being made (I too am a visual learner). Keep in mind this is my first attempt at a video and I will post a photo of the card at the end. Hopefully they will get much better (With a better camera angle) in the future. Until then if you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer any and all questions. Below are a couple of pics with the tags. Thank you for stopping by comments and suggestions are welcome. As always enjoy and GOD bless.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

I created this card to enter the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. It is a double pocket fold card. The sentiment on the tag reads: Season's Greetings

Recipe:

Adhesive
Candy Cane Brads
Reflections Cardstock
Ribbon
Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More

I mentioned in an earlier blog that I am working on CHRISTmas Cards and thought I would give you another peek at one of the cards I am working on. The Card base is 4.25 inches x 5.25 inches and will fit in an A2 envelope. The pockets are layered on top of the card base. I was undecided on where to actually put the tag (cut at 3.78 inches X 3.5 inches, and the layer measuring 3.5 inches x 3.25 inches) in one of the front pockets or adhere it to the inside of the card. Either way would look nice. As always comments are welcome. Enjoy and GOD Bless!
