Baby, Its Cold Outside Challenge

Recipe:
Winter Woodlands
Recollections Cardstock

This card is to enter the "My Pink Stamper's" Baby it's Cold Outside" Challenge. Even though I am not a huge winter fan, having the distraction from the heat was nice.

Round Carousel Card

I just had to make this card. I cut the carousel a week ago and just could not decide on the kind of card base I would use. I was toying around with the idea of a round card base because I love to see circles in layouts and in card patterns.
I used the Martha Stewart Circle Cutter (Awesome) to make the base (5.5 inches) and the rings around the layers (4.5 and 4 inches) on the card. The Carousel is cut at 3 inches and it was cut twice and on the top layer I used pop dots. I also used a white gel pen to highlight the sides of the circle in certain spots. My Pink Stamper Stamps (Family & Friends) were used for the sentiment. Recollections Cardstock was used. Enjoy and GOD bless.

Recollections for the card base, leaves, and Core'dinations paper for the pixie. A Martha Stewart 3-in-1 Classic Butterfly punch was used. As always GOD Bless and enjoy!

Princess Castle Invitation

Hello Everyone I was given a project to make an invitation for a little girl who is about to turn seven years old. She wanted a princess theme. So I thought a princess Castle Invitation would be nice. I used "Once Upon A Princess" Cricut Cartridge to cut the image at 5 inches. All paper used is Coredination. I am really pleased at how it turned out. As always enjoy and GOD Bless!

Babies, Diapers, and Onesies--Oh My! Challenge

This card was made to enter Made By Momo's Babies, Diapers, and Onesies--Oh My Challenge. I must admit that I don't know what happened but my blog somehow deleted the photo of the pic, so I am uploading it again. I don't know if anyone knows how to retrieve anything that was deleted by mistake (I would sincerely appreciate it).

The Invitation is 4.5 x 4.5 inches. I used Cardstock from Debbie Mumm's "Nursery Rhyme" Paper pack and Recollections Cardstock for the base. The onesie was cut at 3 inches. Various punches were used; a Martha Stewart Doily edger punch, an EK Success corner rounder, and a Modern Label Punch from Stampin' Up! As always enjoy and GOD bless.

Cricut Cardz Challenge

This card was made to enter the Cricut Cardz Challenge. My friend Melissa at Moe's Creations is definitely keeping me on my toes. I wish her all the best in her endeavors. When you have a minute check out her blog.

The card measures 4 inches x 7 inches (Recollections Cardstock used). I used a Martha Steward Circle Cutter to round the top edge of the card. The waves were cut at 4 inches x 1 inches using the Life is a Beach Cartridge. I also used a Martha Stewart Zig Zag edge punch. The Swan was cut at 2.25 inches using the Cricut Lite Splish Splash Cartridge. When I saw the swan I immediately thought of how swans mate for life and since I only cut one it just seemed appropriate that the sentiment (my pink stamper stamps) should read wish you were here. Enjoy and GOD Bless

Oops, I just realized that I didn't use PDDU, please scratch/withdraw my name from the drawing. Sorry Emma!

Christmas Wreath Card

I know the fall is coming and Labor Day hasn't even came yet and here I am telling you that I am preparing Christmas Cards. Here is a simple card. One thing I noticed is that I forgot to put on the Merry Christmas. I cut the wreath out with the cricut, but only as a template in order (cut at 1.5 in) to put the leaves on. A red ribbon tied in a bow finishes the card. Again thanks for stopping by, enjoy and GOD bless.

Happy Birthday!

Okay, this is the last birthday card for this month that I had to prepare. It starts all over again next month. I am also trying to get my CHRISTmas cards done as well. This card is my rendition of the Peek-a-Boo card (I seen it on KiyomiKrafts)and again recently on the challenge for back to school. I thought that I would give it go myself.
Directions: Two panels are cut at 4.5 X 7 inches The top panel of card with a scalloped circle (I used my gypsy, you can also use a circle cutter or scallop punch). The card is scored at 1, and 1.5 on each end of the card and folded. There are also two 1 x 2 pieces of cardstock to place on each side of the bottom panel (Used to place the gifts and balloons on to cover cake). The presents/gifts, balloons and cake are cut at 1.5 inches. The number 6 in the bottom right of the card is cut at 1.75 inches. When the card is pulled from the sides the the presents and balloons are moved to the side to reveal the cake with candles. I also used a white sakura pen to faux stitch around the edges of the card. I think it turned out really well. Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy and GOD bless!

Back to School Challenge

Recipe:

Stretch Your imagination
Paisley
Create a Critter
Pooh and Friends
Recollections Cardstock

Base of the card is 4.25 in. x 11 in. scored at 5.5 inches. As you can see I used a combination of several carts to hopefully present the idea that the duck was walking home in the rain after the school bus has dropped it off. The umbrella (paisley) and little duck (create a critter)were cut at 2.5 in. The school bus (stretch your imagination) was cut in the regular and shadow feature at 1.5 inches. Rain drops (pooh and friends)were cut at 1 inch. As always GOD bless and Enjoy!

Birthday Hat!

This card is for my mother-in-law for her upcoming birthday. She wears a lot of hats to church so I figured this hat/post card would be most appropriate for her. It is all about making a card to fit the individual, right? Anyway, I used the forever young cartridge to make this hat (cut at 5.5) and as always Recollections Cardstock was used. The hat and flower were cut using the gypsy. Navy Blue and White organza ribbon were added to the hat where the flower is located. Now I just have to find an envelope to mail it to her. Enjoy and GOD bless.

Birthday Cards

August, for me means Birthday month. My husband's, mother-in-law, father-in-law, nephew, and brother. Here are the cards that I made this morning using the Cricut lite cartridge Handy Man. I used my gypsy and George and Basic Shapes cartridge to weld the tape measure together. Everything was cut at 4.5 inches. I made two of these cards. I really liked them so much that I am going to send one to my brother and one to my father-in-law. The sentiment was from Stamp set Well scripted from Stampin Up. As always enjoy and GOD bless.

Family Reunion

Okay I know you guys have probably been wondering where I've been. I have been busy planning and helping with our family reunion and this past Saturday we celebrated. It was so much fun seeing everyone and the highlight of the event was this family tree that I made with my Cricut Expression. The leaves on the tree was made with Recollections Cardstock. The tree trunk was cut using Canson Cardstock the color, Tobacco (cut at 23 in x 24 in). I had the actual family tree laminated and sized at 36 x 48 I pop dotted the name on the trunk (cut at 2.87 x 2.85 in) The cartridge used to cut the leaves and the decorative oval was the Heritage Cartridge (cut at 3 in.) and the name (cut at 2.25 in) was cut with Cursive 101.
Enjoy and GOD bless

Dream card

I thought this card turned out really cute. My plan was to do something totally different, but my hands and creative spirit took me into another direction. The paper used in making this card is Recollections, kraft for the base (4.25 x 11 scored at 5.5 inches) as well as the essentials collection. It cuts so nice on my cricut. I used my gypsy to design this as well as all my cards(what a handy tool). The butterflies were cut in both the blackout and icon features (and pop dotted in the middle of the top layer. This card was made using the graphically speaking cricut cartridge. Thanks for stopping by Enjoy and GOD bless!
